Ready is a movie by seenu vaitla and ram is the hero.genelia de souza is the heroine. This is just a commercial movie. Main intention is to just entertain audience for three hours and get paid. In this objective it succeeded. This movie entertains you thoroughly because of good screenplay and story. Hero ram looks very charming and his action is also ok to large extent. Genelia gave lot of support with her action, charms .
camera work is good. locations are good. Good entertainment for family. There are no special things to mention about this movie . we have to discuss about the humor in this movie. humor is based on brahmanandam and it paid. Brahmanandam action is ok and upto expectation. But brahmanandam is mostly settled in this type of roles. watch his krishna , jalsa movies and same action repeated here.
all the three roles in above movies are derived from dubai seenu movie role. now a days, brahmanandam reached his maximum output capacity and reached his limitations while sunil is growing beyond brahmanandam size. Now sunil surpass brahmanandam very easily. In this movie also sunil role his actions were good.His dance for sagar sangamam was appreciated by many.

Great directors often resort to simple money earning techniques by making such type of movies like bujjigadu. Director puri jagannadh did this movie just for money. he has not used any special talents or hardwork in this movie.Prabhas, trisha are the hero and heroines . This is a simple commercial movie. To some extent they could make it. But prabhas looked lean and one way smart. But his role is not very good. His accent is also appeared like artificial as he has not imbibed in to that role and accent.Trisha looked good but her action is not upto her capacity. Mohanbabu looked good and acted well in sivanna role. but director could not know how to use his role properly. After some time, sivanna loses imporatnce and becomes one among all tom dick and harry. trisha imitating prabhas in his accent was very amusing.Director and producer were not very serious in doing some committed
movie so, this is above avarage with good starring. Music or songs were not upto mark. fights were miserable, not upto mark of chatrapathi level.
Direction fault: the volvo bus , whose wind shield and other glass panes damaged in a stunt, reaches destination without any damage of glasses!!

Pandurangadu movie really disappointed the audience, to speak truth. The main theme of the pandurangadu movie has not been taken care of properly by director raghavendra rao and his team. The team of all artists in this pandurangadu movie really performed badly except the heroine sneha who tried hard to do something all through the movie and she succeeded in her effort. The main draw back of the movie is the casting, imporper homework, no committment for the objective. Hero nandamuri balakrishna took the role very lightly and he could not justify the role. The role carving is also like that. The movie would be compared with the old panduranga mahatyam and in that comparision this movie miserably lost to the old movie.
Songs are not good. The dialogues, screen play were not good. The roles of y.vijaya and tabbu acted negatively to the success of the movie. Raghavendra rao should know where to stop in showing the romance. He gives anesthesia to do some operation, but because of the improper dose of anesthesia the patient dies. Here anesthesia is his romance. He has no control on depicting romance in his movies. where to start where to end etc are not taken care. The taboo , balakrishna episodes in tabboo home (in movie) was very vulgar and you get sick of the movie.
The relegion, the god, concepts were taken very lightly and the jumping of panduranga idol makes you hysteric. The episode of krishna and his wives , krishna's women attaire all things come under crap and unwanted. we do not find any motive or objective in making the movie as we do not know if the hero is worried about god or his wife. viswanath made gross injustice to his role vis a vis nagaiah in similar role. poet or writer bharavi boasted himself about his work, his song about chumbanam, his verse about ammaki brahma ki nichchena... etc are all bogus. He needs some more penance to touch any relegious subjects. SP balasubrahmanyam got some mud to his throat by singing in this movie.Better to be away from this movie.

If you want to see some miracles in action, makeup and techniques you must see this movie. With this movie kamal has shown his power in action. Though the movie story, screenplay are not convincing, his roles and action definitely steals the show and you will watch him with open mouth(such astonishment). Out of ten roles, atleast eight are very convincing. The lead role is not very good as usual, balaram naidu, old woman, kerala man, george bush, the flicher (villian), japanese man are wonderul. Good imitation of a punjabi-style with his eyeballs slightly pushing into top lids like any punjabi. Asin action is as usual, convincing and attractive. Mukunda mukunda song is very good. kamal hasan accent as english man (bush and flescher ) is very wonderful and good work.(kamal informed that his daughter shruthi is his mentor in this accent modulations).Dasavatharam is a must see movie for these technical excellancies.

Pourudu Movie review

Pourudu movie review: pourudu has staring of sumanth, suman and kajal aggarwal. The ad campaign could create some interest in the movie. But at the end we came out with dissatisfaction. The failure reason is the incompetent people handling the subject. Picturisation is above avarage and you may stick to your chairs while watching the movie.
But , the story, dialogue writer has no intrinsic value on such subjects and the characterisation failed miserably. Why? we do not know why hero sumanth hates his loving father. His father suman is a goonda working for a good cause under someone. It is his profession. sumanth selected some other IAS profession. It does not justify hating a very loving , life giving father. The hatred or love could not be established in the hero by the writers because of lack of clarity on the theme. The heroine is very good looking and just entertains you with her charming body . She has no individuality. she just loves the hero . ok.
Her father and mother too like this person with poor family background and allows to stay in their house , where their lovely young daughter is living. Hero sumanth hates rowdism and violence but resorts to it for every drop of a cap. Only suman's action and characterisation is good and worth watching. He could impress in his role after so many years. stunts are good but became useless because of the theme.

Killing of old villians harshly never gather sympathy from audience . If you leave to fate the villians kota srinivasarao and bhai would die by themselves within one or two years. Heroism is not required to kill those innocent, protection less villian. songs ok. locations ok. choreography ok.

The top 4 directors includes vv vinayak. Once upon a time he was leading the 4 director batch, but now he revived back to top two position.Ofcourse, not by exhibiting his talents, but for just not spoilt the movie. The telugu movie Krishna is 100 percent entertainment. It is worth your money and you may not get bored. You will enjoy the movie because of the tempo, good and excellant dialogues and screen play. Trisha appeared very romantic but she did not contribute much of her acting talent in this movie but showed more of her lovely curves. She appears to be using bigger pads in this movie.watchout yourself the pics here. Raviteja repeats his routine performance but people love his dialogue delivery as no competetion to him in this area. fights are mediocre. trisha is beautiful. The humour by brahmanandam and jayaprakash reddy is very high quality because of the wit and dialogue timing. Brahmanandam did a good , different performance in this. Story is most ordinary story without any speciality.

Vaana movie was directed by ace producer MS Raju and the hero is vinay, son of MS Raju. Heroine is meera chopra.The film is low budget film and we get sympathy on ms raju for such poor production and old age direction. Story is very old and daringly copied the hackneyed subject.Proposing or loving an engaged heroine. Characterization of roles is too low in this movie and quite ridiculous too. The fault primarily goes to writers parachuri bros. They lost the current trend and they try to dump what they think . Why meera chopra encourages flirting of the hero vinay is not known.
We do not have any sympathy on hero and he appears to be a spoilt boy with riches falling behind any beautiful girl. The only plus point of this movie is the photography and the locations. MS Raju should stop rehabilitating old stars . In this movie jayasudha, suman , seetha contributed negatively to the tempo of the movie.The servant in the house of heroine looks very ridiculous and we donot find a good reason for his selection to that role.
Very poor presentation of 1960's story. All negative marks to parachuri and MS raju. I suspect some change in the ending. The ending presented spoilt entire mood of audience. We audience , after paying hefty price for a ticket, never like love failures and sentiments. Please remember sirs!!.
Heroine: meera chopra is enough beautiful exposing clevage in the starting of the movie. she looks neat with good body profile.

The second movie Mantra is another good movie. Enough suspense and thrill created through shadows, colors, filters, and music. Lot of confusion is also resorted in creating terrror.But the movie is worth watching. charmy action is not superb but just adequate. The ad propaganda made her great. sivaji also acted well but his role portrayal needs more improvement. Initially we think he is a great fighter when he kicks the inspector with one swift, sharp blow but later if you see his fights, it does not maintain the tempo. (Pokiri movie maintains the tempo with every fight). The maha maha song is good to listen, though it has exact roots from black eyed peas my hump song. better to have such nice songs even if they imitate or copy pop song tunes.Anyway worth seeing movie. illogical things: how a young woman decides to live in a haunted house is beyond comprehension. Not even .1% of indian born females take that step. Must see for a thrill

It is time for terror , horror movies. Thank god some relief from routine love and violent themes. In this season two telugu movies were released in this category. Anasuya and Mantra. Anasuya: This is the name of the heroine in this movie. she is an orphan and gets a job as tv undercover to collect sensational news and truth behind some issues. picturisation is good. enough curiousity and thrill was created successfully. Bhumika action is also good. The only confused part of the movie is the villian. He himself is the director of the film too. One single person can not do so many murders and follow up, inquiry etc. It is beyond one's comprehension how he could trace all the victims. How he could bluff the hospital staff as lame without being is also beyond our comprehension. anyway we can see this movie once.Hero is useless. he could not do well nor his role was good.we donot know when he comes up from that dumb characters.

What is good and bad in happydays movie As already told in this site long back after godavari, sekhar kammula can make this type of movies with ease and they run minimum fifty days . The reason, he will not touch violence, action sequences like other producers and sufficient cinegoers are there to see such movies. On the same lines the current movie happy days is also hit. The people who love some family sentiment , troubles with that would definitely go to movies like bommarillu, happydays etc. Plus points with happydays telugu movie: The picturisation is cool, simple . The characters are picked up well, mostly and they performed well. Particularly arnald, heroine, third boy and shrew outperformed their roles. They did very well than many established actors, super actors in the field. we can never believe such action can be extracted from those new comers and young.
Plus Points:
The kept their roles infront of us but not their physical forms. Perhaps they may not fit to other roles in other movies, that is a different issue. The heroine tamanna bhatia stole the heart of youngsters. she is cute, lovely, beautiful like a toffee. When she walks with parikini and voni, she was like an angel. second heroine shrevs (shravya) really lived in that role and she deserves special kudos for her role and action. or it may be the greatness of director to extract and exhibit what best is possible from her. Tomboy girl gayatri rao is ok. nikhil acted as rajesh wonderfully and he also deserves special mention for his ease of action and living in the role. Vamsikrishna (may be the hero of this movie) is just apt. nothing more nothing less. Rahul acted as Tyson and he is the real hero of the movie. His characterisation and his really action are superb . He showed his best performance in many of the scenes and movie moves around him only.
Minus Points
Well. then there are negative, minus points too: The narration is fully in engineering background. The ragging scene, asking the guys to jump in "engg college " style is vulgar and he can use his sense to cut short of that avoidable scene.
none can understand how wipro is using black woman for selection in campus. satyam, infosys never did that way to the best of my knowledge. How a guy can recite a poem and get selected in campus interview was also not digestable. The director missed a good action scene opportunity. When the hero wants to stop ragging by reporting to principal. the conflict is resolved with a cricket match, and some magics imitating lagaan type resolution. Had the conflict settled across floor with good dialogues and applying force or a tussel between rival groups which gives a kick to audience (pokiri formula) The senior harasses madhu too much. he even puts his hands over her and drives her to a coffe house. But this is not possible anywhere. ragging female students has many limits and risky too. Here kammula crossed the border.
Anyway, sekhar kammula succeeded in establishing a formula for telugu industry for a commercial hit.

Godava, a peculiar non catchy title. This is produced by director kodanda ramireddy for his son vaibhav.As many times discussed here, the andhra audience taste changed and only 5 directors can catch their pulse with many failures. kodanda rami reddy of yester year block buster movie maker, failed miserably to present a nice movie. Resulting a flop for his son. son vaibhav practiced very much dialogues etc, but his imitation (unknowingly perhaps) pawan kalyan awarded him negative marks unknowingly by audience. He should have his own image in the first picture. never over act with fighting exceedingly declaring him another prabhas. ofcourse prabhas has charishma and muscles. So , there is no special thing in this movie.
But.. wait.. there is a new heroine brought from bombay for you. sradha arya, or sradda arya.. she looks beautiful and shows well, leaving apart action. who cares for action from heroine? if we need action we go to trisha. Look the stills here of sradda arya, how exciting she is. so, for romantic lovers and keats, this picture may not upset.

This story is entirely about a don and his followers who stands as a god father to his people.Suri (nagarjuna) is don of A.P state and helps everybody who are in need.Lawrence is brother of suri and he follows whatever don says.The story is a very old story of 70's or 80's. There is nothing new in this movie. Asusual,villain who is a very big don tries to have his network all over the country and so turns to andhra.But here suri( hero nagarjuna) is very powerful politically and also has a huge support from people. Villain tries to gain suri's support by wooing him for which Suri will not accept. So,villain swears to take revenge on Suri. Meanwhile suri fells in love with anushka who is the daughter of one of the follower(chalapathi rao) of Suri. Lawrence also fells in love with nikitha. nikitha plays a negative role in the movie.she cheats lawrence and traps him such that he comes to the villains place. Though nikithas role is very short she did her best in all the scenes. Asuasual villain kidnaps anushka and lawrence and finally lawrence will be killed by the villain. Songs are horrible and even the choreography is not upto the mark.the only saving grace of the movie is Anushka actress. She shed a lot of weight for this movie and looks very slim.Nagarjuna looks very old and we can clearly identify that he covers his wrinkles with goggles in the entire movie. Tottally the movie which had huge expectations befor release left audience and his fans in great dissapointment. Futile effort by lawrence. He should take enough time to grow .

director portrays kareenas and shahids character in an entirely new dimension.The story begins
like this.Shahid looses everything in business and his girlfriend gets married to someother person.consequently he looses hope on his life and decidess to commit suicide.he leaves everything and gets into a train in despair.shahid plays a role of serious looking man and he suited very well in the character. kareena is his co-passenger who is an extrovert and talkative girl.kareena did a fabulous job for her role.so,the story is all about how an enthusiastic girl changes a serious man to an extrovert. In the later half of the story these both roles gets interchanged.due to some unexpecting situation, kareena stays in a hostel away from her family.at this point of time shahid becomes very energitic and shines very well in business with karrena as inspiration.then shahid searches for karrina and gives her a soothing hand.in the climax,karrena's ex boyfriend comes back and asks her to marry him.shahid ,kareena ,her boyfriend goes to thier house for her parents approval,but by mistake her parents thinks shahid to be her boyfriend.like this the story is a very big entertainer. Its different from the regular stories. kareena's action is highlight.shahid also did an amazing job in this movie.There are no heavy senti dialogues or horrible fights.This film ,right from the beginning goes on smoothly entertaining the audience till the end.The songs are also very nice to hear. totally the movie gives us a good relief from regular movies and is a must to watch for comedy lovers.

A comedy attempt on andhra audience. Naresh and farzana acted in this. Cinema is built on comedy theme of a brahmin boy becoming or acting as seema (rayala seema ) factionist for his love. Farzana belongs to reddy family and naresh to a brahmin pujari family. Naresh love is accepted by heoine. To convince her parents naresh and his family acts as factionists. dialogues, narration, comedy are of mediocre values. Not like evv satyanarayana; evv knows real fun, pun and every thing to tickle audience. These director and producer took inspiration from evv movies and attempted this. This picture slightly entertains us. We can see for a small releif. Farzana looks good , pretty and looks like a chocolate baby. She improved her action, feelings. attaire and every thing and she wins your heart if you have a bit spark. ofcourse she is plumpy, but who cares.

Nithin after getting a series of flops and after a long gap returned back to limelight with TAkkari movie
with huge expectactions on film.The entire story revolves around the 3 characters named Tiru(nithin),priya(sada),
guru(shayaji shindey).Hero Tiru is a vagabond who has a very carefree attitude.howwever he is interested in doing a business and he waits for an opportunity to promote his ideas.

Guru is a very big business magnet who loves her sister very much(sada).tiru happens to meet sada once and both fall in love with each other.But Guru dislikes it and opposes it strongly as Tiru is a vagabond and irresponsible person.He bribes Tiru with 25 lakh rupees and asks him to forget his sister(sada).our hero tiru accepts the money from guru and tell him that he will forget her which is a twist in the story.priya comes to know about this and this leads to a misunderstanding between hero and heroine.tiru invests that money in business and soon he becomes a rich business man.

In the climax,sada will be ready to marry someother person but tiru comes to that marriage and tells his actual intention to everybody.finally Guru accepts him and gets his sister married to tiru. The first half of the story is very routine and the second half of the story is average.Nithin's character is not carved properly.he has a villain character almost till the end of the movie.The movie is an entertainer will not have any strong emotional or sentimental scenes in it.sada's character is a very innocent and soft natured women folk feel pity for her throughout the movie as she suffers a lot because of nithins behaviour in this movie.The chakris music is above average and "kobbarimukka " song is highlight.sada shed lot of weight and she appears very glamourous and hot.Nitihin built his body very well and is well shown in the movie.these are only parameters that are a saving grace in the movie.

There is a drift from the philosophy of Core area against the management guru c.k.Prahlad advocacy to stick to one's own talent (core area) in business instead of going for diversion in other new areas. Prabhudeva and lawrence never listen to these words. Both try to explore more lucrative areas of direction testing our patience. Atleast prabhudeva has action while lawrence needs to some how improve these talents. His areas are stepping into the private lands of ali. Ali has lot of more talents of expression than lawrence. Anyway, the muni movie is directed and acted by this raghava lawrence. Vedika is the heroine who is the saving grace for the audience. The pair looks amusing because of the contrasts in color complexions and expression talents. Vedika , perhaps , first entry into telugu movies robs your heart with her charms and expressions. This is what required in shankardada zindabad. Heroine too has to entertain audience in songs and scenes. Vedika is good in all scenes and beautiful. The movie is attempted horror movie. To some extent, narration methods are good. Building up the tempo is also ok. But our directors forgot how to make a horror film long back. Now none can even visualise the movies like aame evaru, cid raju, ranga mahal rahasyam, for creation of terror. Ofcourse chandramukhi is an exception .Introduction of that union leader who was burn alive (in this movie) reduced the tension, tempo. Had it been a real muni (saint) some extraordinary powers who wanted a body, medium, this movie could have been a better horror movie. Anyway, this is a half baked potatoe. You may eat if you like it.

Chirnajivi, is one of the reputed actors in India and over years of his action and presence in the industry, he is revered all over other cinefields in India like tamil cine field, malayalam cine field and some extent in hindi field. But now days have changed. To get recognition one has to be very careful in everything including action. Chiranjivi is making a mistake again and again and loosing fame and winning the sympathy of his fans and others. What mistake? He is not concentrating with whom he is acting, how the music is , how the dialogues are etc. He would be just present in the set utter some dialouges with ease and dance to the tunes of lawrence. Thats all. Hundreds of prints would be released to collect money hastily within first week. The same story repeated again and again for the past half a dozen movies. So, while the youngsters are living in their roles chiranjivi became only the idol to be respected by his "service" to the field.
When we come to the movie, it is just below avarage movie. First fault lies in selection of heroine. Now telugu field is desperate for new faces from heroines and beauty is occupied front seat, selecting this heroine could not help to the movie but hampered the progress for her aged figure. It is not her fault, but the fault of producer , director prabhudeva and lastly chirnanjivi. Prabhu deva needs to learn a lot a lot about telugu field and better join somewhere. Inspite of repeated failures he is not learning. As einsteing said, doing same mistake again and again expecting different result is foolishness. Devi sriprasad was sought for music again for this movie and he fully dumped again.
The roughness visible in sanjay dutt as a bhai (dada) is not at all appearing in chiranjivi. Slang is also not unique. This movie would be a time pass but never an entertainer. Shankardada MBBS actually surpassed all other tamil, kannada versions as lot of nativity was injected into that movie. Sonali dendre aspired to act in this movie also but she was not offered nor contacted. Atleast the same hindi heroine vidya balan,should have been booked which would add value to the movie. Anyway, let chiranjivi try more methods till he learns audience are different now.

what to say about satyabhama movie? People say it is a straight lift from 50 First dates, many dialogues are copied from original. Again an irrelevant plot adapted by inexperienced, unimaginative director. This plot, this story will not impress the telugu audience. It needs spice. This dish is just like simple chinese chow chow without ample salt. Sivaji , wonderful actor, has limited scope in this movie, same as bhumika chawala. Peculiarity is , we do not know what is the begining of the story and where it may end up. The problem what they show in this picture is not a big problem for today's people. Only attraction is the friend of sivaji in this satyambhama movie, who does not know english and creates good comedy. He really lived in the role. All the role players have little scope to act and some how the picture pulled so many hours. The producers, director publicise that people are encouraging the movie satyabhama but i have my own doubts. Sivjai has a bad film in his list with this movie.

Again history repeated. Inexperienced directors hastily make a movie with good actors and disappoint us and waste our time. This lakshyam movie is also another one in this big queue of disappointing movie. The starring in lakshyam movie are gopichand, anushka, jagapathi babu, kalyani etc. All good actors. Director attempted to do some thing. Where he failed is in providing tempo in scenes and failed to have grip over the incidents. The starting of the movie is having a bit grip. We get questions why the hero so coolly kills the DIG and why anushka is smiling.. But the head ache is the answer is too long. The flash back eats away 90 percent of movie and never ends. Fights , comedy are not great. Gopichand, anushka and jagapati babu just acted for namesake as the role given by the script writers is like that. Director created scenes but no life in the screnes. They do not know how to create tension, interest in a simple frame. Sentiment has been given a big seat in every frame. Director/producer wanted to win the sympathy of audience but it is very costly. Audience simply disappointed from this movie.

sivaji movie claims to be the costliest movie built , may be at 55 crores. But do you know why the budget is so high? Most probably, 10 percent of the budget would be spared for publicity. A picture released and maintained with 5 crores worth publicity would draw attention of every body, though there is not much impressive stuff in it. The same thing happened. Telugu audience never liked this picture, though only a few can loudly declare that " the king has no clothes"First of all, rajani movies rarely impress telugu audience, for his cheap , illogical tricks and picturisation. Bhasha is an exemption, as the picture was really good. Chandra mukhi, only the suspense episode saved the picture. Even in chandramukhi if you watch the stunt scenes, you will run away from the theater.Now, entire tamilnadu says sivaji is good while telugu people sit shocked and tight lipped. Some news paper from chennai also wrote that rajani kanth can be compared to amitab bachchan . But since amitab is from north, he got very good market. But truth is different. Though rajani kanth knows some action, he is very much restricted himself to tamil mass oriented movies and so he had no good opportunity to act in a real difficult role which requires action skills. But AB really touched many roles and defined those roles with his action. This is not to praise anyone, but a comparision of action skills exhibited will speak this way. Daily, the media promoters of sivaji movie release one news item about the movie, to continue the interest in the movie.

Dubai seenu, no dubai:This is just a run out of mill movie.. seenu vaitla proved that making a good film is beyond his capacity. This movie may make you smile but not laugh heartily. Incompetent direction can be learnt from this movie. Anyway, it is a law that the top 5 established directors of telugu only can make some new trends in movies but not like these directors, though they occasionally get a flick of one or two hits. No committment for good movie making, no control over actors, no proper screenplay, . In one word, if you just mix two three movies in cd, and remix the songs with incomprehensible verses, it becomes a new telugu movie thrown by such these directors. Dubai seenu (title is good and catchy) may entertain you just because of the established actors their own contribution but not at all by the technicians including the director. The director has very low opinion about the needs of audience and has thrown some thing on our head. Ravi teja will act in this way in any movie, you need not tell him the story or anything. nayanatara is a beautiful woman just waiting for a "i love you" word from a road side fellow and she accepts it. One joker circle instpector (shiaji shinde). Tooooo many songs with unknown lyrics. The most useless actors , who can not improve themselves can be seen in this movie.. one, the father of nayanatara.. he will never learn action nor attempt.. second bhanu chander.. he loves only getup and freezes in the role.. look avs , the veteran actor. he got hardly 4 minutes role, but how easily he delivers dialogues and acts.. MS Narayan got a good role, and his action is worth watching.seenu vaitla got a good story plot of mafia gang just like pokiri. How pokiri was wonderully built, how poorly this movie was made. Seenu vaitla forgets or ignores the core subject and spends reels and reels on useless comedy. Beautiful villians die in a fraction of second, creating disappointment. In the fighting scene of villian and hero in the end, the villian has good muscles and good martial arts than ravi teja. Definitely intellegent audience get disappointed, but they may get some cheap entertainment in this movie.

Attili sattibabu:As long as EVV and naresh are there, there is no dearth of comedy movies and this is a healthy trend to the telugu industry. Evv is great in comedy movie production and he is compelled to make a movie for his son naresh, which sells well in the market. Naresh , as anticipated earler, has stabilised as a comedy actor. This movie used two heroines , good for two purposes. We can see two heroines on single ticket and second, two heroines get a chance to test their luck and talent. Sympathy goes with the heroine vidisha for her role which shows love and affection for the spoilt hero naresh. Comedy strength is not that much high as evv old movies but comedy goes hand in hand with story.. we can just see or pass this movie.

I have some honour and sympathy for MS Raju, the king producer of telugu mega movies. His movies are just different from other people movies, mostly, exempting some good great director's master pieces from our top 5 directors. Raju saab's movies are like udupi hotel food or shaanbaag hotel type kannada recepie. Looks good but taste a bit less salt. Appearance and color is good but the recepie needs a bit more spices at different places and times.
Varsham songs are superb as well as their lyrics. They made him great. But picture lacks some good direction at places like pumping petrol on villian and challenging to die for a village belle by two great heroic heroes. Again , in pournami, the worst episode of the step mother, henpecked chandramohan husband, silly rocking hero as a dance master spoilt the broth. Otherwise, the songs , picturisation and lyrics made him (raju garu) great. Now, aata : nothing special in this movie. What it appears is, raju garu makes a line longer by drawing a shorter line by its side. Making a worse movie , he is making his previous movie better. He has zeal, enthusiasm and committment for a pure telugu movie production. Probably if he switches away from parachuri brothers, he may produce a master piece again. Parachuri brothers became too commercial and their trend pulse is well known to every village audience now.
I have great respect for him for these great songs production from varsham:
song Numero Uno: real rain song in the telugu film history after aatmabalam movie: Both acted very well, lyric superb with surpassing music.. this can be seen any number of times without a bore of repetetion. Tamil people could not capture the life of this song in their remake, as usual with them. with this song, ramappa temple got fame from lovers

After seeing aadavari maatalaku ardhale verule, if you see this movie, you get some releif because of the speed of narration. But speed was a bit high in the initial stage. This is a low profile picture by MS raju and exact carbon copy of the movie gudumba sankar. I wonder why ms raju resorted for this type. Then what to see in this movie? ofcourse illiana, and then the photography of chota k naidu. Picture is mostly comedy genere and you can have some entertainment.
MS Raju fails to give a better comedy in all his picutres and he would be satisfied with simple sunil comedy.
There is a concept found in all the ms raju movies. In his movies, heroine is weak and being unwarrentedly harassed and exploited by the villain. Only hero is given a chance to reply the strategies. Take it varsham or pournami or this movie.. It is high time to change his theme and show some daringness and wits from heroine side too. Afterall , they are also great and intellegent. Music by devi sri prasad is very sad..Illiana is is a feast to eyes.

MS raju tried to encash on her beauty though not vulgurly. She herself is good looking in many costumes and scenes. Only raju garu took care to give very very short mini micro skirt and keep a fan under her skirt.I dont think it is any violotion of a rule!!white saree and wet saree for illeana is an attraction. She would be always smiling in this movie and dancing rythemically. Hero siddhartha ... nothing special from him.. infact if the movie is given to an established hero like prabhas it runs another 50 more days.

Picture is of a bit different type and slower narration. It would be pleasing for high class people. Venkatesh action is ok and matured. His appearance is also good. But the story is same old story like kalisundam ra, nuvvu naaku nachchavu. Some of the dialogues are good and some are routine.Kota srinivasarao has shown different action. But his dialogues, written by writer, are some apt and some absurd. That is characterization is not perfect. Trisha always does her best and she steals show by her standard action.Our directors, writers fail in doing home work to go into depths of a problem. Just superficial solutions they offer. In this movie, venkatesh has apparently scant respect for his father, though director establishes that he loves dad very much. But this hero craves for the family of viswanath, may be because of the lovely damsel Trisha.. why should he crave for other families in all his movies none knows.Trisha action is good, but her characterization is some times fails in showing her love for her would be and her friend venkatesh.Viswanath is the greatest drawback for us.. people love and respect his fame. so he is offered this type of routine routine roles of the eldest foolish orthodox man , who listens the talk of lovers secretely and finally finishes the story.His appearance soon creates sickness if he can not show more action. The starting of the movie was good as it centered around software industry, office. But from second half it falls into the remotest village .Anyway dont miss to see aadavari maatalaku ardhale verule some good variations in dialogues.

The people suddenly appear from tree tops, from earth and jump to fight ..The story is around a plot that veerappan left a big treasure somewhere in the forest. There was a roumour ( in the movie) that veerappan was still alive.. so goes the movie.. Hero aryan rajesh has to change his action styles and take different roles . He is not a substitute for a good hero , where dozens of good heroes are available to the field.Heroine hamsa nandini has not left any impression on our hearts.

Of recent released movies, this okkadunadu movie can be watched safely and your investment in the ticket is not wasted.The director has taken a small plot but shown in different style with sudden surprises. Gopichand and new actress neha julka acted in this movie and made it a success. Gopichand is versatile in such roles and he enacted again the same histrionics, while neha struggled and established herself also to the possible way. since she is young, lean, and new comer, we like to watch her every thing in every frame. Director took care to avoid many shots where her in experience may come in the way. However her struggle to pose in bharata natyam dance is still available in the movie.
Her contribution , her dances are eye feast.
Story is a small one but narration is good, with bombay backdrop. Gopichand, a happy go lucky guy suddenly lands in india to help his most loved , respected father suman to tide over from the crisis of bank 's bank ruptcy . He goes to mumbai to collect the real estate money . Neha julka is the real estate broker, through which the guest house was sold. So, neha julka hates to meet gopi chand every time because he pesters for early release of money, which was impossible to her. But when she knows about gopichand flash back, her heart starts dancing for him. Gopi chand acted as a simple guy, sobre guy, never involving in any love or attachment. Meanwhile, the villian is after gopichand for the heart of gopichand by heart transplantation for the villian. So, gopichand faces lot of problems and finally collects the entire required money of 4 crores from the mafia leader by fighting single handed with his group.
Love Romance:
The love, romance between hero gopichand and heroine neha julka is very delicate and never crossed any limit.. none proposes, none exposes their love.. one scene slightly gives scope for exibition, exposure.. neha julka as seen in next pic comes to gopichand's house in wet white tight shirt, there is a slight strangle for some thing, gopichand hand while pullilng her hand for object, brushes her top assets, which creates vibrations in her, starting a song..
neha julka used tight t shirts exposing her courageous "heart" for any type of role.
comedy is of low profile. Film abruptly ends, though the ending seems a variety and apt.
stunts picturisation is ok and different. Dialogues ok. Some lyrics ok but some not.. neha julka somehow impresses. Item song is boring. Worth watching movie.

The more felicitations, awards , honours you receive , the higher the responsibility to live worth of them. When some one gets an award like doctorate in action, he should justify for that by showing wonderful action and committment to action, like rajendra prasad. He got doctorate quite early and we are all proud of his contribution to humour in the film industry. He gave heroism to comedian and he dictated action in humour. His latest contribution in aa naluguru is very much appreciated by one and all. Unfortunately, in case of chiranjeevi, the quality is reducing day by day while his remuneration is rising to sky (presently around 6 crores, industry estimate). When you demand that much, you have to serve that much also. Kamal Hasan demands 5 crores and he has dictated action in movie industry which none can surpass in present days. As per our good old story, the king was moving in the streets with devine clothes , that only wise men see them. When a kid exclaimed that the king has no clothes , all the citizens got the wisdom.
This is not sharp criticism for him, but demanding the quality for the price we pay. we are the movie goers who pay 200 rupees per ticket on first day and get disappointed miserably, film after film. The more awards, you gather some how in quick time, the onus to maintain them would also be very high. On one side ANR got all the awards , but he had created maximum variation in the action and commanded action in one way. He played all roles , made super duper hits and his doctorate is worth of it. Hope the great stars feel the responsibility before gathering the doctorates.

illiana tamil movie

Iliana acted in Tamil film Kedi, to test in that field. Ravi krishna acted in this film. Ravi kirshna produced the hit film 7G Brindavana colony. This picture theme, attempt is very good and higer than the present day shallow telugu films coming with top heroes of telugu. Music is also very good as well as lyrics in this 7/G Brindavan colony. Ravi krishna informed at that time, that the story is based on real story, incidents that happend in his KK nagar colony, chennai. There is some type of similarity for this cinema and Naa oopiri film acted by Naveen. Both see non existing persons and talk to them. (inspiration from Beautiful Mind movie). But 7/G brindavan picturisation is more plausible than naa oopiri.
Now Ravikrishna acted with our Illiana in this kedi movie. All andhra people take illiana as their own find out . So we are curious how her performance is in tamil . This film is not a big hit and her performance was out shined by another second heroine in that movie, tamanna. Iliana make up , dresses were also not good in that kedi movie. She deserves all the fashionable dresses for glamour purpose and they suit her very well.
Though tamil film of illiana did not give much impact on the hearts of tamil brothers, she is coming back with blasters in the movie Khatarnak with raviteja which may give boost to her to her already fast going career.

The forth coming movies and recent releases in our telugu movies are based on sentiment, for unknown reasons. We donot know how and why the producers are inclined to sentiments. It is obvious that telugu audience are now not ready to receive any type of messages, sentiments. They stopped believing the ads like real story (refer pournami). They just want some good, variety picturisation with enough humour. Presently the movie rakhee is based on sister sentiment with violence. The forth coming annavaram is also based on sister sentiment with fights .

Yogi movie is based on mother sentiment, which would be difficult to digest. If the mother sentiment is controlled in chatrapathi, it would have a better success.Yogi song is in a new, peculiar type with the lyric un comprehensible, like yogi nannu korikai, namileyi . Now a days, if you see the audio release functions, the faces of the actors, directors are very pale as they had to lie that they are providing wonderful music and thousands of cassettes were already sold. We donot know who is buying so hurriedly these cassettes.

Now telugu field knows pretty well how to take a movie in this plot and make it success. So, hit chances are more if he cares for music and dances. Asin is the heroine in this movie and she is in good form now a days. Her action in Ghajini was very good and impressive, and she got film fare award for this action. She gives good support to pawan kalyan in this movie, with her special action talents.

His action in nuvve kavali, nuvve naa pranam and nuvve nuvve are models for good acting. Good comic dialogues work well through him when a good dialogue writer like trivikram srinivas writes. His mother is rojaramani who contributed well through action and dubbing. He got far better name than his mother and his mother and telugu audience are proud of him. His dances are also good. If we see , i am very sorry song, his dance was very impressive.He got a team of trendy actress friends like trisha, shriya etc who are good buddies.He was having good feelings towards aarti agarwal but it is another pathetic story.

Venu madhav entered telugu film industry few years back and now stabilised his position here. He has a variety of comedy track with him. He is very good in imitating the styles and roles very easily. His dialogue delivery quickness, swifness is beyond comparision. He delivers dialogue very quickly packed with lot of action. His Once more please program in gemini tv is also enjoyed very well by all . The combination with uday bhanu , the versatile anchor, was good. Venu madhav's recent comedy in Lakshmi movie is fantastic with telangana shakuntala.98 percent of his roles will be full of comedy. When he plays a lusty, lecherous role or falling flat for any women role, he is the number one. None can beat his mannerisms when he shows his vulgar advancements to any woman through his dialogues, sounds and action.

Adilakshmi is a movie another struggle by srikanth, vadde navin with sridevi. Sri devi is daughter manjula actress.
Her action in nuvve naa pranam with tarun was good. When occasion is there, sri devi can show good action which is impressive. But she has not got very good personality. Sri kanth is unable to come out of his frame to give a good , variety action to survive. Navin attempted different action in naa oopiri. Sainikudu is a big flop , proved within three days after release. Halls are becoming empty and viewers are watching this movie without a smile or reaction. They were just shocked for this movie after the great build up of mahesh babu in pokiri.
But one thing is sure. If such movie is to be taken , only three directors are capable of doing it. They are vv vinayak, rajamouli and poori jagannath. None else can do such violence movie, convincingly. When gunasekhar and aswini dutt attempted a movie, naturally, we can not expect any thing from them.
The story is struggle of a idle medico to force the politicians to serve the public. He kidnaps the bride of the villian and all the movie he will be running with her, so as to get her love expressed in the end for him.
Mahesh babu action is nothing special. Just avarage. Trisha tried to fill some action and sparks in her role and she succeeded. The director and producer created big sets and made the actors to take lot of pains to act in the stunts. Later he gave pains to us while watching the movie. Unwanted stunts , jumpings without logic gives head ache to every one.
Music is not good. Choreography is very old type. This movie can run few weeks , had it been released one year back. Anyway, it is a bit better than stalin movie. The villian could not perform well and his character was not carved properly. He is shown such a fool that he runs as goonda to every where, though he is home minister. He tries to blast bombs when his bride is with the kidnapper.
Anyway, this movie is a big debacle. Perhaps mahesh babu accepted this movie before pokiri, not expecting the big success of pokiri. But next movies of his can be better.

The talk from khatarnak movie is not encouraging. As discussed earlier, the telugu directors have lot of rotten directors who just want to shoot something and throw at the face of audience. But audience matured fast and they are very critical in judging the movie. So, 70% of movies, even with big stars are failing at box office. These , all these directors can not direct present time movie. Only three or four directors know what audience want. For a great hit only these four directors can do.So no regrets for the khatarnak avarage performance but we are worried about ravi teja and iliana. Both are very valuable for the industry. Ravi teja should be very very careful to select the director. Illiana looks good mostly in the fashion dresses and city girl roles. Her dresses should be selected very carefully and two good songs should be there for her.

When these are failed, the film can not impress. Look the image of illiana here. Her legs exposed.When her legs are covered with good skirt or gown she looks good.Her body is not very much exercised body. Rakhi has a good director. Illiana is there with Junior NTR. But when charmi is also taken, full justice can not be done to the costly heroine illiana. Jr NTR needs a hit badly.Charmi looks good but her disproportionate body is not suiting the dresses. This punjabi kudi needs also a good hit.

People waited like anything for this movie as aiswarya roy, abhishek bachchan and hrithik roshan acted in this movie. But the movie is more of stunts and sans logic. If you take your children or small kids they like this movie very much. The plus points of this movie are the locations, the make up of hrithik roshan for different disguises and aiswarya ray's beauty. Her combination with hrithik roshan in dances was good and impressive since both are numero uno in dances.

Hrithik is an internation thief , costly thief . Abhishek bachchan is bombay cop who got full authority to catch this thief (none knows how). He , his companion would go to any country to chase the thief. Let us not go into the reasons, but take kids and let them enjoy while you watch aiswarya and hrithik roshan.shhh.. there is a kissing scene in this between hrithik and aiswarya. twice or thirce he kisses her lips. audience are thrilled and whistled at these scenes. Bipasha basu tried to cast her spells but needs more spell. Uday Chopra tried to fill gaps in shots.

Now and then some very good thought provoking movies come in telugu films too. One similar movie which was released four years back was kubusam. This movie has many merits. Sree hari, manivannan and some other young budding actors acted in this movie. The story is entirely about the peoples war movement, naxalism and atrocities by the rural heads and police. The greatness of the movie lies in showing the story, very close to real incidents and the picturisation contains full information about the people's war movement, their problems, their internal troubles. The direction was superb and we get full satisfaction when we see the movie. People who read only news papers about this movement may have different thinking and opinion. Somewhere i have seen one commentator asking how many days we can see these movies of blasting and naxalism. But the truth is, if you go to a village and see how badly the citizens of India , the poor kings, are treated by the rich, the educated and officials. Unless you have the first hand experience with the sufferings in villages, tribes, you can not appreciate the struggle. This struggle is not for just for fun sake like some separate state agitation, which is meant for political gains. Since there is so much depth and force in these agitations, the government had to yield and come down for discussions with them. It is impossible to crush these agitations with iron boots. Anyway, one song in this picture is very very good and surpasses the song of Nee padam meeda puttu machachanai chellamma.. song which got award. This song is Palle kanneerau tunnadi.. song, sung by vande mataram srinivas and acted by srihari. The lyric is superb and picturises the present status of villages in one song. For the people who love to think in which direction india is going, this is one picture to be watched and thought of.

Pawan kalyan takes lot of time to complete and release his picture, and meanwhile lots of things happen in the movie world and he gets some shocks. Annavaram directed by Bhimaneni sreenivasarao. As told many times, now a days all directors who gave some type of hits before 2004 can not direct a film to the satisfaction of present audience. Same is the case with the movie. The direction picturisation of this movie resembles a movie directed ten years back. Old narration methods, bad editing (indeed very bad), poor music by gogula tests the patience of the audience. What we can see in this movie is a depressed look in pawan kalyan. There is no bright ness , sharp ness , joy in his face or eyes all through the movie, may be because he was far from a hit. Yet this depressed look merged with his role. The grace from him in this movie is his action as a brother.His love expression to a sister would be unique and we feel it from tammudu movie onwards. Same good love shown here by pawan , specially. His action when he offers a ring as a gift in haarathi pallem to asin and the dialogue by him at that point is also good. Fights and stunts nothing special. We have seen this type of medium fights lots of times. MS narayana, ali, brahmanandam, venu madhav all failed to give good performance because of ignorance and laxity by the director and producer. Sandhya is not very impressive because of her big nose. Only by the presence of Asin heroine, we can ensure that we are watching a recent movie. Her make up , her action are very good. These heroines like trisha, asin try to boost the morale of the films to their best , but all other elements bring the tempo down. Scenes editing is very poor. Some places the scene suddenly ends while we expect some thing there. The picture lacks a subham card and abruptly ends too. The death scene of venu madha prolonged , and this picture is not suitable for such scenes. That scene fits well with R Narayana murthy films or Srhari movies. The singer tone should be changed for pawan kalyan, and better get sung by balu, as the tone of the present singer is very pale for pawan. Pawan kalyan mexican dresses in a song looks good. His body movements at some steps in songs are good.Now a days, it is very difficult to impress audience unless you complete the movie in 3 months. This annavaram has long gestation period like elephant gestation period and gave birth to a rabbit. Picture is not very bad but this much time need not be taken for this picture. Choreography is poor and outdated.One bad custom crept into the movies now a days. The entrance song for hero will come abruptly , without establishing him . In this movie and in stalin also. Then we can not enjoy the song. Song is also not good. The introduction for the hero is too much. That much introduction, and later a dull picture spoils the image. Comedy is very poor in this movie.If you select better actors for the roles, you can improve the movie.

Baladitya, suman shetty and srinivasa reddy are other room mates . In to this room, a beautiful heroine , navaneet kaur is coming and hope she raises the heart beat of the room mates. Let us hope she will not disturb their studies. Navneet kaur , though coming from punjab, is trying hard to have a strong foot in this telugu cinema land. To be frank, she has all the calibres, and acting skills to become good actress here. But she has not yet got a very good opportunity till now. When she took a small , not important role in jagapathi movie itself, her charms were stunning in that police dress. Further she acted in one more film but could not give a good break.
This film has all the strength to give her a good push and launch her as considerable heroine. AVS direction would improve in this movie, hope so, adding commercial values to his talents. Now the notable thing is, the room mates (ie the three other actor than naresh), will be launching pads for this punjabi kudi to rise into the sky. Ofcourse, naresh has his market and he would always be busy with roles.
The main attractions of the movie can be the ease , hilarious actions of naresh and suman shetty , charms by navaneet kaur, and the comedy king avs direction and the theme/plot by CC reddy (who dedicated himself to education domain) would definitely pave a red carpet for this movie. Telugu Cinema Maharathi is coming with Balakrishna, sneha and meera jasmine. Balakrishna is coming to test his calibre once again. Atleast he is trying this time with a black beard, though the make up appears a bit artificial. Something is better than nothing.It is better for sneha to act with big stars like bala krishna for her career though she may not win in glamour idol roles. Balakrishna advantages: clear pronounciation of dialogues, a bit command over the dialogues and language like his father. His expressions in anger is good. But the directors , with unwanted enthusiasm, spoiling the story of balakrishna with unwanted sentiments, fights and twists. Sneha dresses are good and she looks pretty in sarees.
Meera jasmine pictures are not widely publicised in this movie publicity. There was a trouble because of meera jasmine in the begining of the film, as she ran away from the shooting, probably because of advice by Ravi teja. People say that ravi teja had to offer a personal apology for that act. Anyway, meera jasmine deserves this much attention? This picture is directed by P.Vasu who directed Chandramukhi. Though chandramukhi was a big hit, his direction could be praised only for few scenes like the chandramukhi song, in the end and rajanikanth action as the king of the court. It is seen that Vasu really acts every scene minutely and asks the actors to follow it. He is that great, but chandramukhi has lot of useless things, meaningless scenes, acts though it was copied from a successful Apta mitra kannada movie.
There are possibilities that balakrishna may be in dual role or triple role. Old jayaprada is reentering telugu cinema. Anyway she lost her charms. In this movie she is a woman returned from London to run a music school.What is the meaning of Maharathi? The archer warrior who can fight with ten thousand archers. Karna and Arjuna were maharathis, though Bhishma once referred karna as Artha Ratha.

Prabhas has a special place in the hearts of the telugu audience because of his very good personality , which is God's gift which no other hero has presently. Added to it, his action, dances fights are catching masses expectations. His varsham, chatrapathi movies are very good. Varsham came in the begining of the action floods and so, the picturisation was mediocre but songs were too good and they stand apart from other songs. Choreography was also good in varsham. Chatrapathi was high tempo till the interval and further also good except the unwanted sentiment ointment. Pournami theme is different and disappointed the masses because of other reasons than prabhas presence. But songs from pournami were very good and melodious. Thus Prabhas movie difinitely brings good opening collections. Fortnunately now he is acting with moderately better heroine like nayanatara. The most important factor for high expectation for the movie is the director v.v.vinayak. He is really a good director, proven track record, but some failures and mis attempts . But he knows how to raise the temo of a movie. So, this time, since vinayak is hungry for success, he will put all efforts to make a big commercial hit. Now a days Pokiri success is the yard stick for any commercial success. Music is by Ramana Gogula . If he can give two or three good tunes thats enough for this prabhas to make an above avarage film, without any effort. Nayanatara is at the border of becoming stout and care should be taken. Directors are projecting her mostly sarees , for this reason. Nagarjuna again met a flop with this heroine in his Boss which raised expectations.
Presently, as told earlier in these columns, there is a trend in the telugu industry. 4 directors like vinayak, rajamouli etc, and 4 to 6 heroes like venkatesh, nagarjuna, balakrishna mahesh babu and three or four heroines like trisha, asin, nayanatara, meera jasmine. For any movie, combinations of these three sets are working.

We still remember the heroine of Bangaram movie, Meera chopra. Kamal Hassan is called sakala kala vallavan, for a long time, indicating that he knows all the arts. He is really multi talented actor or he dictates the action on the screen. If any one says that none is comparable to him in action , it is not exaggeration. He has proved it with his long action career of about 32 years , with most diversified action roles. We have seen him in commercial form from Avar oru todar kadhai ( Antuleni katha) with his song Taali kattu subha vela, like vikata kavi.

He caught the attention of the audience by that role immidiately, and rajani kanth also entered from that movie through K. Bala chander. He got more prominent role in the same film and he acted well too. But , as time continued, rajani kanth became mass, hero diverting from pure action while kamal hassan has grown from heights to sky acting in all types of roles, which no other actor can venture to do .

He was glamour boy in the initial times in andamaina anubhavam, idi katha kadu, sommu okadidi..,etc.But his movies pushpak, Bharatiyudu, Bhamane satya bhamane, saagara sangamam, satyam sivam, nayakudu, Indrudu chandrudu are some of the wonderful characterized roles where he lived in them. Bharatiyudu role stands very tall among all of these which none can imitate. Every movement as an old man was his creation, and he kept his father in mind while acting the old man role. If you look at the stunt scene and dialogue deliveries in the old man role,
they are entirely different from what other directors routinely create. Recent satyam sivam movie is also a wonderful action role for him, where he shows the psychology of such person. He shows the anger (while talking about fear) well in poturaju movie while he is interviewed in a jail. He shows the true respect to father in kshatriya putrudu movie which none portrayed again like that and his trend of long hair in that movie was also very good and suitable.

His dance in saagara sangamam movie is excellent and none beat that in future even. He mixed art and glamour in that dance song naada vinodam song. His expression of happyness and joy in a scene after the dialogue "Thenikaina idi vundalandi" is marvellous. He received 14 times the film fare award in India while chiranjeevi who also entered the field almost at the same , got 7 film fare awards till now. Chiru is very happy even for this shows how much he also respects kamal hassan.
Another important aspect and unique trend with kamal hassan is his quick dialogue delivery with action mixed, which creates laughter uncontrollable. Take for example the movies pancha tantram, Tenali, navvandi lavvandi, Brahmachari, Mumbai express. In all these movies, he and his sorrounding characters create fun with pun of dialouges, quick and timely delivery of dialogue with action . This could not be created with any other directors, actors in India.
He married sarika , hindi actress. His favourite actors are SV Rangarao, Sivaji Ganeshan and Charlie Chaplin. Kamal Hasan is an actor who dictates action like tikkana dictated the telugu language and all are proud of him for his contribution to movie arts.

This is a movie by jagapathi babu. Saamanyudu movie was first left unnoticed by the viewers due to lack of proper publicity. But after 3rd week from release, the ads, clippings in the tv reached the audience and created interest in the novie. As a result collections started increasing to this good movie, in a way. Good movie because of the good theme and action. Jagapathi babu dialogue delivery and action got slightly deviated towards good. This movie is an example for showing the need for proper publicity , which the telugu cinemas lack. If you depend on mouth talk publicity, it will not help any movie normally,because the movie has to collect within first three weeks only.

Kamni jeethmalani acted as heroine in this. There is a song praising jagapathi babu personally, which would be a great advertisement for him forever. This song has some resemblence with a song in James movie by ramgopal verma.Dasari ARun acted in this movie. His face features are good but needs some polishing to his acting , expression skills. Devadas kanakala is an asset to movies now a days. He got full command in action and he has his own style of acting. His most of the movies are very good in his action. He is number one to act as a second hero who can be fooled easily. His action would be very impressive. Satya is coming up slowly and very well in movies recently. Her voice is peculiar, husky and quite interesting differing from other dubbing voices. This native voices are required now for the field. Her action is also impressive, natural.
Movie is about facing the anti social elements, fighting with crooks . Sai chand acted as Home minister and his action is also ok. But he is coming with police story 2 very soon and it shows his achievement as police officer agni, jamadagni, which became popular.

Music director keeravani is providing music while amma rajasekhar is directing this movie. His ranam , earlier movie was just ok. A good director and good time are required to make a good film. Recently illiana acted in one tamil movie also, but it has not created ripples as it created in telugu movie land. Hope illiana settles in telugu cinema field. Producer is BVN prasad. His previous venture was Chatrapathi movie. Chatrapathi was excellent till the interval, where it scored full marks till intervel and the second half scored only 70 percent marks. If the first half trend was continued, it could have been as good as Pokiri telugu movie.

This is an experiment picture which will pave a way for down trodden actors , actress to fight a come back. So we have to view this picture from this angle.
This is a picture where you can find sunil in every frame and he could justify his role and made the audience to sit quietly and enjoy the movie without bore. He got many talents and we have already witnessed or identified his talents in previous movies. He is a best unique who is more like a second hero in many movies. He fills the gaps of the movie story by always being with the hero and witnessing the twists in the movie. He is the actor who advises the hero or reveals the sacrifices of the hero in movie. No substitute to him in these roles.
In this Andala ramudu movie, he has shown his talents of switching his expressions very fast, he has proved that he can do roles where sorrow expressions have to be shown. He is very modest in expressing his talents (unlike ali) and we will notice his talents rather than his selling of his actions. Audience fully enjoyed his jokes, his dialogues and particularly his dances. lots of whistles and claps for his dances, even in city like chennai. People whole heartedly enjoyed his dances, which were a surprise to them. One song picturisation was very good where the dresses, the back drop were selected very well. The song is made up of 4 colors, red, green, black and crimson. All the actors in the song wear these colors , each at a time while back drop is also reflects these colors. (just like pachchadaname pachchadaname song of mani ratnam). Sunil's modern dance and steps are also appreciated.
heroine aarti agarwal gave a good fight back and won the hearts of the audience. Most of the initial scenes reflected her real life pathetic feeling but at the end of the movie she will be having winning smiles. People accepted her wig. She is cute with her fair color complexion in this movie.
Story is village back drop story. But picturisation is good. Nativity is good. editing should be improved. noticed some songs ending abruptly.
Aakash can take rest. People would ignore soon. Direction is mediocre as it fails at many places to give plausible explanation to the roles. How aakash, who is a poor guy in a village can shout on sunil who is a big land lord of 400 acres land. How a peasant who works in sunil's farms can raise against him is beyond our comprehension. Brahmanandam has a worth less role in this and if he accepts and plays such roles, he looses his rank. Kota has limited role which will not satisfy our apetite. sunil's grand ma doesnot reflect her age. she looks young.
You can watch this movie, just for a change and to see sunil's histrionics.

Pogaru is a new entry into the telugu field. It is not just another ordinary dubbing movie. Vishal reddy, reema sen, shriya reddy acted in this movie. As earlier told, vishal reddy is a pakka telugu young chap who is fluent in tamil and telugu. His pandem kodi was appreciated by people, because of his mannerism, title attraction and good music. The characterization of meera jasmine was good and competetivly his action, his expression of some of moods and feelings were good in pandem kodi.
Now he came with Pogaru (Timiru in tamil) to telugu audience. He has taken the dubbing rights and released personally. Pogaru the last portion was purely tamil culture oriented which is different from our styles, so it was a bit exotic. But Pogaru is ok to a large extent. But seriousness is lacking in picturising such plot. What we have to see in this movie is vishal reddy, as he is slowly carving his position in tollywood and he is another promissing candidate for action films. In this film, his action is very good and commendable. Particularly with his spectacles, and quick actions are too good. In some scenes he shows real pogaru or courage in something like that . But the great tempo portryed by him through action, was not sustained by the plot, theme and direction. For just kicking goons with legs and hands none need be a hero. Now a days every hero kicks like that only. If it is tamil film direction, when some body kicks, the person will be thrown into air, hit the front wind shield of the sumo and comes out the rear window. (refer chandra mukhi , pogaru).
Reema sen portion is avarage, though she always fills the role with some special sparks.
Shriya reddy may also have telugu origins, but could not speak much of telugu fluently. She is anchor for SS music channel. Her portion is far from sympathy or appreciation, though she acted well. In movies, it is not important what you told, but it is important how you told. The shreya reddy, her brothers, the gang failed to impress the telugu people, who got a bunch of wonderful revenge stories, with pokiri in their minds. Anyway, this is worth watching once for vishal reddy. By the way, it is heard that he is coming out with two more pictures in next six months. Hope he acts in direct telugu in a good telugu director's hand.

Priya sakhi - Madhavan and sada

This is a movie from tamil. Madhavan and sada acted in this movie. This would be above avarage movie because of the presence of madhavan and the rich getups for heroined sada. Sada dresses were good in this movie. Madhavan has limited capabilities for action and expressions. But within that limitations, he makes it very impressive. If you see his recent ramji londonwale movie, his action and expressions were very impressive. His performance in satyam sivam along with kamal hasan was also good, though limited. In this movie, he is the sakhi (short cut name of santana krishnan), while the heroine sada is Priya who comes from a rich family to live with sakhi , madhavan because of their love marriage. It is very difficult for sada to adjust to the ordinary mediocre family life of sakhi, with her sophisticated family back ground. How both struggle together and come to compromise is the essence of the movie. Sada is an actor who started with telugu film jayam and now reached a high position to act in costly, reputed banners. She is lucky. But she needs a lot to improve for lip synchronization to songs. She has yet to polish her action, in this competetive field. We dont know if she could complete her engineering studies.

However he is struggling for a hit for years. A good actor should have atleast one good movie once in two years, to live in the memory of audience. His kaho na pyaar hai was a big hit. they are searching for similar hit. So, they (hrithik roshan and his family)planned a movie and attempted to make a movie out a story, spinned out of a computer. The computer has taken the stories of koi milgaya,super man,tarzan, phantom the opera, and some more movies, mixed the plots, lines, verses and created a story which took the shape of krish. Even if you see the movie with sympathy for hrithik roshan, it is difficult to sit till the end of the movie, because the pale , story. The less discussed about the story, the better. Songs are not very good, scenes are not gripping. Story is not having any base or life. some how that was released . Only relief is that we have a movie to show to children (less than 10yr old) whol loves fantasies combined with romance and fights.To sum up about the Krish movie in a line "resouces wasted".

Sneha slipps from top stairs and dies. Srikanth reaches with smiles to nikhita's house. one or two duets. He tries to help the family. They think otherwise. Nikhita wants to marry. Srikanth resists for no good reason. Finally marrys her. Thats all. Nikhita is ok. Sneha is a fast ideas girl, with love in her mind always. Srikanth stuck up in his actions to these types of roles and movies. He is not trying to rise a bit. Sunil is ok. He is growing day by day, and becoming important link in main story , from a comedian role.Venu madhav is satisfactory. This is avarage picture.

This type of movie making is seldom seen in our direct telugu directors. If you take a scene from amritha, there will be some scenes where a small kid will be talking to an old man while every body is packing off from village in ceylong, we have to see the great action shown by the kid, his feelings in face . Exceptionally natural and impressive.

NT Ramarao, Akkineni nageswara rao , sv rangarao are legendaries . Even now, new and old actors some where imitate them and get influence from their actions. If you give any legendary award to ANR it is an honour to the award itself. Recently Chiranjeevi was given. It is very premature to award him, at this point. Because in recent years or in olden days, there was no such exemplary contribution in action from him, except commercial movies. More over , now a days he is flooded with costly awards like padma bhushan, doctorate etc. I dont know why the awarding world woke up from long sleep and awarding all in a year of time. Definitely some political brain can be seen behind all these. It would be nice for the actor to get rid of these , because the more faster you get costly awards, the more risk you have to be pointed out.
Nirmallamma, anjalidevi contributed a lot to the industry through action. But they have no fans and politicians for such awards.

Now, this stalin is having expectations from his fans who are waiting for a good success for chiru.Murugadoss proved himself well in gajini movie and his direction was very good. However, many new comers in the industry get success in first two movies and then they could not continue success further like director teja. Hope murugadoss proves that he has the strength to give a good hit with chiranjeevi, which would change his fate. Already roumours are here that he is charging around 3 crores as remuneration. Another roumour is that mallika sherawat asked 1 crore as remuneration for just an item song, while heroine trisha is toiling for 75 lakhs . She got annoyed when director was about to fix mallika sherawat at this exhorbitant price. Her pleading is justified. Audience stopped to watch movies just for item songs. They watch for good heroine performances (if hero is silent). Trisha, sriya, asin, kamalini mukherji run the show well from heroine side and pull audience to the hall. If music is good and songs are hit a movie runs well. Let murugadoss depend on superhit songs than item songs. Now a days chiranjivi is unable to give good super hit songs .There is another roumour that chiru is seriously trying to push his son into action arena. With that 80 percent of movie heroes would be from established telugu actor families. Young ,new faces will have tough time for some time. But , it is difficult to confuse, telugu audience for a long time with some type of sentiment or other. They pay only for real entertainment. They may not see who did it. Recently two advertisement gimmicks failed to work. one with pournami movie. They advertised as real old story etc. none bothered whether it is old or new. Second one is Amritha varsham. Advertisement hype was high that amitabh first time acted, a nice pair of hero heroine etc. This also not worked. people never pay just for one uncommitted appearance of Amitabh bachan or anybody.
So it is better to stick to the core business and try to impress audience with real skills and arts.

So, he may be a future hope for many movies, where , initially a good second hero is required. Meera jasmine, may be a lucky star. For the ordinary features she has , she gets very good offers with great heros. In every language. In this movie her performance is good. She acted as a jovial, enthusiastic young lass from tamil village.
The story is that vishal is son of a powerful land lord in pulivendala. His father is good person and respected by all, but he is a ferocious man for any fight. vishal had to confront with a local goonda leader in anantapur, while he was on a short trip to there. So that goonda wants to revenge on vishal by killing him.

He will be haunting through out movie . In the last scene there is a fight , hand to hand between goonda and vishal and vishal wins. In between the love story of vishal and meera jasmine. To see a new comer , vishal we can see this movie. Though he has not acted extra ordinarily, we can have an eye on him. Entire cinema is taken in typical tamil culture back ground.

This is a movie for Nagarjuna. He is coming with another movie to try his luck. His Ramadas movie has been just okayed by gentle men of andhra pradesh, after a deep silence. Because , enough work is not done in that movie. Now a days the problem with many stars, particularly with Nagarjuns is that they are not stressing on a variety, home work, new methods. They are just nodding head for a good director with an old theme with a belief that the director can make this movie also a success just like the director's previous movie.There are half a dozen reputed directors now and a dozen heroes longing for a great hit. There will be combinations of these directors and these heroes and run out of mill will come to us. A big hero some how spoils the story, and the director get a flop. Then he goes to a small hero, works hard and makes a hit. Then again the heroes run towards the director needing a quick hit. The same story is continuing in the industry. Super was a duper failure. The director took all precautions and made a super duper hit with another hero . Now the hero of the super movie is coming with another director.
Nagarjuna is a special hero. He got good looks, height and a good brought up from akkinenni and he got good philosophical approach for any thing. When he has such a calibre, he should act differently, and can create some new things within his calibre. Ofcourse, his contribution for annamayya, ramadas are commendable.But he need to do a lot before he says good bye.
Now he is taking support of two beautiful lasses, nayana tara and poonam baajwa. Ofcourse these heroines can divert the attention of the audience (who search for a good reason, why this movie should be made and seen) for some extent. But they can not divert a disaster. This is a proven truth in Movie field. The hero should restrict his unreasonable romances with these girls, and do some acting. Again caution for nagarjuna.. he should reduce his futile romance and concentrate on other acting skills. People got bored up wtih elder heroes romances, as they have fresh young heroes for romance. These elderly heroes should utilize their hard earned experience of acting skills and spell bound audience. Pokiri was hit because , futile romance is not there. Shanker dada was hit as meaningless romance is less.
We are not very much sure about the Director , V.N.Aditya's skills. Nagarjuna shirts selection is good in some songs of this movie.

yugantham is an attempt by tamil director, producers to present some sci-fi movie relating the dooms day with meteors , comets from moon and some cult to bring down evil forces to perish the mankind. Totally, the picture appears to be confused plot with lack of depth in the story homework. One lady like annie besant researches on these things, agora etc and analyses the stones came from comet with simple beakers and titration methods, in this age to find out the analysis of sample. The great scientist is nasser who tries to find reason behind all the events. His assistant is swarna malya, the heroine. In addition to her presence some more two girls and three boys who come for research under the professorship of nasser. Swarna malya actress action and appearance is ok. The other girls are ok but not much action has been given. The plot , story of Yugantham may not be liked by telugu people, but for rurla masses this may be ok. It offers a bit thrill and change from normal movies, though in small magnitude.

ANR gives a speciality to any role, even just a grand pa role, with his specialized action with eyes and other body language. he adds spice to the role, which no other current old role playing actors are doing. In this, there are scenes where siddhartha and ANR talk, act in close up shots, where you can find the competetion between present action trends vs age old solid actions. Both the actions are impressive and both the actors vied and gave nice to watch performance.
Siddhartha is upcoming and promissing actor who suits well to a happy go lucky guy, with modern trends and trendy dresses. His dialogue delivery timing is also ok , where a little bit of stress on each word of dialogue will improve his performance. Ofcourse this may be acquaired over time.
Present youth trend setiing actors are: siddhartha, tarun, Raja(anand fame) etc. The head ach of love stories is the sacrifice. (The back ach of telugu movies is flash back. )Though the music is not that good, this is a worth watching movie at any cost.The dialogues between siddhartha and sunil are good and entertaining.

Locations are very good, The forest area was shown superbly. Small or medium mistakes in story, directions are there. For example, the scene says it is going to have a cyclone, but the scenes will not establish it ,but for light breeze and occasional artificial lightenings. If story is improved, and the rishi character improved , the picture would have been a memorable movie like chandra mukhi. Rishi character can add lot of value with special mannerisms, idio synchrosies, dialogue deliveries. but this role was just ignored and we have to satisfy with simple appearance of a healthy man as hero.Anyway, if you want to spend with a telugu suspense horror movie in any night, watch this.
One more important point! Our directors like this sekhar suri, ram gopal verma are unable to get away from the spell of hollywood horror movie trends. When you see the psycho killer in this movie, you can link that characterization to 20 hollywood horror movies. Telugu horror field is different. You never attempt at macabre, gore scenes, showing blood, cutting off heads etc. These belong to hollywood only. Telugu field suspese is different. Telugu people get scared with Ame evaru, antasthulu type of songs and picturisation. That itself create chill in spinal chord.(Remember ninu veedani needanu nene song, or oh na rajaa songs?).Hollywood picturisations resort to spitting green liquid from mouths, shades in eyes, chopping off bodies with axe or chain saw ,hovering bodies in the air in a peculiar way.
coming to Publicity of the movie, we could not understand what for this movie is made(when release, through ads). Had they shown some good dialouges in this movie, some suspense scenes in tv publicity, it could have drawn more crowds who are waiting for a thriller , as a change. Hope Nandanavanam 120 KM atleast implements better publicity to pull the crowd who love to watch suspense movies.

Bangaram telugu movie review

Final verdict, the movie need not be avoided.
Pawan kalyan has lots of special audience for him who expect some different pictures from him and different type of action. Unfortunately, they could not get a memorable picture from him for past few years. Recent release Bangaram is above avarage but could not run very well for some reasons. First reason is it is released unfortunately ,at a wrong time when one picture pokiri is doing very well because of its very good compositions of scenes which bangaram lacks. If pokiri is not released at this time, bangaram could have drawn more crowds as there was no other better competetor for youth movies with violence. Another big draw back for this movie is mis cast. The villians, heroine, heroine father and comedy actors all are below avarage and they could not give impact. So, picture has to run just on pawan kalyan which would be very difficult as running a bus on single tyre.
when you consider pawan kalyan action, it is ok and satisfactory. He has shown some two three dialogue modulation variations, which were not tried previously. The story, theme is very good. Different from ordinary love stories , and this gave great releif. But the villians are of very inferior variety and they failed to give support to the story. The actress , the baby who played the heroine sister role had a lengthy role and her performance is surprisingly good.
songs, tunes are not upto the mark.The main item of kalyan is stunts . But the stunts composing is inferior in this movie. if a bit effort is put to improve some given scenes, the film could have improved its performance. Characterization of roles is not upto the mark. People should learn from the hit of pokiri, arya etc, that characters should have individualism.
The story of this movie is known to all. Final verdict, the movie need not be avoided.

Vikramarkudu-Telugu movie review

Vikramarkudu telugu movie: Lots of hopes for a rajamouli,just because he is one among the top 4 promissing directors presently (viz. vv vinayak, rajamouli, sekhar kammula and poori jagannadh). These directors created new trends and promissing to take the cinema shooting to a new hights with fresh ness or new trends. However, out of those four, poori and kammula only kept their promise till now with their recent movies creating new trends and teaching new tastes to telugu audience. Now coming to vikramarkudu, rajamouli has thrown some unknown thing on to us with a title vikramarkudu and slid down to fourth position in their list. The picture has no new trends. Direction is just old routine type and no place we find fresh ness or creativity except for the chambal valley locational shooting. No care for perffect screenplay, direction, dialogue writing or lyrics.Nothing special with songs and choreography. Infact music scores low, and some times the back ground music at mass fightings spoilt the situation.
Cating: Miscasting pulled this movie back. Perfect casting helps any movie with extra horsepower, for example pokiri. Ravi teja role in this one is not exactly suitable for him, his talents or not fully utilized in the movie. ofcourse, the role of vikram rathode (IPS) wins the hearts of the audience in many scenes, but his role should be carved in a better way than what was. 70% of the reels length has been wasted in waste scenes which never contributed much to the main plot. Titles is ok. Starting of the movie is not that impressive. His movie chatrapathi was excellent till intervel and really spell bound the audience and he scored 98% marks in that movie. But here , he lost all the grip on narration and we are forced to see what is happening on the screen. Anushka role under utilized and spectators can not stop yawning while the scenes are going between anushka and ravi teja. songs are so so, but the settings in songs and dresses, color selections for dresses are good. Keeravani lost all his creativity and now scoring negative marks in his creations.
Final verdict: As a routine you can see this movie also. No hopes- No head aches!!

Veerabhadra movie Review

Brief Story:
Balakrishna belongs to a very wealthy family but was left orphan due
to some family reasons, when he was just born. The kid was taken by
prakash raj, a drunkard mean fellow, at an exchange rate of 10000
rupees to look after him.
Balakrishna becomes a robinhood type person involved in smuggling
business in shipyard/sea port. He earns and distributes half to the
masses and rest to thebenefit of the family who brought up him.
Prakash raj, his original son, daughter in law , daughter have no
gratitude to Balakrishna though they are eating his earnings.
The rich old man, the grand father locates his grand son and wants him
back to him to take care of the property for which the hero is the
heir . One more girl is alone left in the family. The old man has an
enemy,a distant relative, (shinde) pressurising his to give away 2000
acres of land for free .When the old man refuses, shinde penalises his
grand daughter by crushing her one leg with his boot. The girl becomes
crippled and can not walk without artificial leg.
Now the Hero enters the family and tries to teach the villian and his
three brothers a lesson. He beats all them black and blue and makes
the villian run for life in the street ,nude. Shinde enters the
central jail ,surrender there to save his life , on spur of moment.
After that, the Hero is living in a colony ,in Hyderabad, with his
crippled sister and joins her in a college which is founded by shinde
, the owner of 2000crores assets. Shinde, who is burning with revenge
comes out of jail on bail and tries to kill Hero by hook or crook.
He kills the old rich man in the series of events.
The colony contains many characters , among them one is second heroine
sada. She loves the hero she resorts to petty thefts.
Shinde's only lovable sister, Tanu sri dutta meets accidentally the
Hero and loves him deeply,inspite of resistance from brothers.
The fights and chases between the Hero and Villian gang continues and
finally Hero kills the villian shinde and his brothers brutally
and marries Tanu sri dutta, as sada sacrifies her love voluntarily.
Actors Performance: Bala Krishna performance is normal except in some
scenes. He may entertain his fans. He has a new type of wig with curls
falling on forehead.
Sada is ok, her dance speed is good but over all performance by her is
slightly inferior to other heroine Dutta. Dutta appearence , dances
and action is impressive, may be since she is a new comer. Photography
fully took advantage of her wonderful contours. Sada lip movement
looks many times out of sync.
Bala krishna, because of his vast experience in similar scenes,
commands some scenes with the power of his tone and dialogue
modulations and stress.Anyway, most of the scenes he is shouting all
the dialogues, whether it is love or war. Shinde also shouts ,many of
dialogues and his shoutings will raise the BP of the audience. That is
the danger of heart patients.Shinde action fallen in to a routine
track.He has to come out of it for survival.Not much comedy can be
expected though many comedy actors were rehabiltated in this movie.
Only MS Nararayan got good effect of comedy and then Brahmanandam.
Songs are enjoyable though music , lyrics are not that much
catchy.Heroine dresses are good in songs. Steps also are enjoyable to
some extent.We find too many actors in this movie and lot of jumps in
editing of scenes. Misfit of characters plays an important role in the
movie performance.
Direction: Direction is not impressive. Director successfully confused
in narration. Entire story presented in bits and pieces and your
memory has
to be used fully to join all the bits and understand the story going
on. The story starts from middle of the story described above and
flash back stabbing will
try to fill the gap of missed links. This flash back (stabbing)
syndrome is a pet for many directors and a nightmare for audience.
Dialogues lack creativity. Useless scenes eat many reels at our
cost.Logic lost its track in many scenes.This may be fate for
directors who try to
direct a film with top heroes , after their success with small
heroes.(The director directed Yagnam which went well )
Overall remark: Good movie for Fans. Ordinary movie for others. You
can watch the movie for New comer Tanu Sri Dutta, and to notice some
new trends in Balakrishna actions, (Using lips to express some
feelings).

Ashok the telugu movie

Unfortunately, this time also Jr.NTR could not hit success with his latest movie Ashok. The picture is not ok and is not in a position to please the audience. The appearance of hero heroine is more hefty. Violence crossed the limits and even that violence is not artistic,as it was the case with pokiri. Heroine sameera reddy is not impressive. She is not properly utilized.

Pournami movie- charmie's accident.

one important event we have to note , in the picturization of the last scene. While charmie completes her last ritual dance, with the cooperation of Prabhas, she starts running to reach prabhas to express her respects and gratitude. It was raining and the bridge was slippery. There , charmie really slipped and fallen flat on her back, with a big thud on her back side of head. You can see this clearly when you watch this movie.Her neck was injured because of this fall, and she is still continuing medication for this for past two months.If you see this fall on screen , with the knowledge of the details of the fall, you will definitely sympathise her for her involvement in the scene.

Ramadasu: The action of Nagababu (elder brother of chiranjeevi) acted well as Ravana in this movie. He commends special applaud, as his appearance, his expressions were apt for that role. He made justice to that role. Do you remember how well chiranjivi suited as lord shiva , aghora roles in sri manjunatha movie?

Sri Ramadasu - movie review

This is a picture directed by sri Raghavendra rao
It was in the old mould of annamayya only with slight changes.
Story as every body knows about Bhakta ramadas and no need to discuss.
only thing is we have to discuss how he deviated from the original story.
Raghavendra always try to sell for both mass and class which is
impossible,normally.
Because the needs of both classes are different. But if you comprimise
in quality of directon
for the sake of commercial values, you land somewhere. You can never
bluff the masses, because
they encourage you with some silly hits and throw you in to ditch for
your taken for granted attitude.
If you dont comprimise for masses and collections alone, but use your
skills to make a good picture, chances of hit are very high , or
otherwise, you would get a good name atleast.
Mr Raghavendra rao always trys to compromise and try to commercialise
and the result would be some thing which none expected nor wanted.
This is also another example of that
When you depict kabir by giving that role to ANR, you can create great
wonders, but this picture misses it. A lay man thinks that kabir is
just a muslim phakir or beggar . Kabir is atleast as great as Ramadas
and he influence entire India for Bhakti cult.He is a great mystic
poet. Not even a single dohe was used here, which is a directional
mistake or failure.
Ramadasu is also a great devotional poet and wrote wonderful lyrics
which entire Andra remembers for centruries to come.
But his other songs, dialogues are of avarage person. There is one
incident in the movie. He throws a riddle to Tanikella Bharani. This
scene was left unused, and the riddle thrown was a silly,native one.
Had he thrown wonderful ,poetic imaginative samasya, it establishes
his command over the language or interest in the language.
Nagarjuna appearence is ok and good. we love to see him. He seems
healthy and energetic.His wife role by sneha is just ok. character not
well established.
Good things to see:
Graphics looked good and enjoyable
The imagination scene when ramadasu finds every where the role players
of ramayana in the panchavati ,near bhadrachalam is good and a new
trend.
commedy by Dharmavaram and AVS are good. Dharmavaram created another
new variety in his way of creation of variations of comedy.
AVS is now a days doing very well many roles. This movie also, he
moulded well his small role.
The song "O rama nee nama mento ruchira" really makes you dance and
this it was shown by making ali and venu madhav to sing and dance this
again in front of the muslim jailwarden.
This is really wonderful. Actually the same song and tune was sung by
great madhavapeddi in old movie and acted by Ramana reddy. Then also
it was very good.
Undigestable things:
It was not clear whether ramadasu misutilized the sarkar funds for the
temple or not. The scenes and dialogues confused the issue. The caging
of parrot episode could have been overlooked as that saying among the
people may be not true, because anybody who tames a parrot definitely
keeps it in a cage and it need not lead him to imprisonment. A man who
ties his buffalo to a post need not be punished by tieing him to a
post.
Nageswara rao's role should be utlized in better way which can bring
more audience to hall.
The song or dance between the hero in initial part thrown us in to
dilemma if we are watching modern social movie or ramadasu.
The last scene of ramadasu asking the darshan of rama frantically is
not convincing if we consider the stature of ramadasu. He is one of
the great devotee who knows very well where to find rama, he will
never try to kill himself just for not finding rama manifested.
Suman is not very impressive in rama role.
killing the devotees son throwing him into ganji gunta became common
in every story. If you see one dozen devotee movies, you find this
incident in half of them.
Many sweet lyrics of ramadasu were left untouched. They should have
touched at least by their pallavi to introduce to Andhra young
generation. Mainly Ramuni varamu,maa kela vicharamu, ninnu
ponichchedana.. etc. Even in tyagayya movie, bapu made tyagayya to
cite this ramuni varamu stanza .
Over all verdict: all have to spare 60 rupees , watch this movie and
encourage producers to make such movies in the interest of preserving
and promoting our culture.

Story

Some story is there but not very convincing, yet a different type of story belonging to few decades back. That is the variety. But story is woven very loosely. Enough hard work , home work was not done in this case too. Just some plot was taken to make a film in oldage background, with concentration on the last event of dance in the temple. Lot of unwanted suspense,filled in many frames which throws a viewer in to some type of despair.

Brief Story:

Chandramohan has two daughters. He teaches elder daughter dance to dance in a temple on a special occassion(which comes once in 12 years), as per the tradition coming to their family centuries together. But that daughter runs away from home,afraid of local zamindar. she takes shelter with a banzara group, dancing in that group. Hero sees her loves and one way marries her.She succumbs to the village factionism who tried to kill hero. Then hero comes to that village in disguise to make second daughter to learn and dance for the specific event in temple, as the dying elder daughter took that promise from her husband , that is the hero. Some fights, some mis apprehensions, some patches of different stories in different places at different times added to this.(Entire story is in a faroff place where you wont find a policeman though half a dozen murders took place and equal number of fights take place.

who killed the action?

Chandramohan, could not act convincingly, nor added any spice to the role. unjustice done successfully by bharani,that yellow pages man (acted as brother of manju bhargavi). Almost all actors made injustice excepting 4 .No humour , though some good comedy actors are there. No powerful dialogues from parachuri.

Good Performance

Prabhas,charmie,Trisha and Kota. Only these four actors run the show effectively.To some extent sunil also commanded the role. Prabhas performance , his feelings are good in many scenes. Where ever his performance is not apt, it is just because of the bad direction only. He utilized many scenes to get good marks. Helpless ness is a feeling that he shows very well. It is his own asset.Stunts were not good.Trisha again proved that she got good body shape , her talent to speak with eyes, and smiles. good performance by her within the frame given to her. Charmie took lot of responsibility to run the show. Though most of scenes,action given to her were badly composed , her involvement to improve the role catches our eye. She proved again that she can act well and run the show. Hightlight of the movie is the last dance scene in the temple. Many people liked. worth seeing . The settings in this movie are very good. zamindar house setting, the temple settings,outdoor shooting in fields while chasing the enemy son to kill are very good. Sound track recording at some places is also good.

Direction:

Entire bad credit goes to Prabhu Deva. He could not improvise any role. He could not dramatise any scene.No wonderful songs (by music or lyric).No characterization at all.It proves that Prabhu deva lacks a lot and to really learn how to make a good movie, whether it is hit or Phat. If you consider Nuvvu vastanante.. that movie story is also a chandamama story but made great because of dramatization, dialogues, performance by 5 to 8 artists, and good songs. Here this movie lacks all the plus points he got in his first movie (he directed). Direction wise he gained negative points by this movie.
